The Bhangra Showdown is the UK’s only national inter-university Bhangra Competition! The show has grown from strength to strength since December 2007 and hosts teams with ever growing talent in the art of Bhangra.

The event brings together teams from all over the country to perform in front of a distinguished panel of Judges and a crowd of thousands to be crowned Number 1 Student Bhangra Team in the UK

This year the show comes to its most prestigious venue yet, at HMV Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday 5th February as 10 teams battle it out for the ultimate prize.

Tickets will be available from the New Year so be sure to get your seats as soon as possible!

GETTING HERE
The HMV Hammersmith Apollo is on Queen Caroline Street, W6, directly opposite the Broadway Shopping Centre. Hammersmith tube and bus stations are within the shopping centre and are wheelchair accessible.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Nearest Tube: Hammersmith (Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith & City lines). The station is wheelchair accessible.

Buses: 9, 10, 27, 33, 419, 72, H91, 190, 211, 220, 267, 283, 295 and 391. Hammersmith bus station is wheelchair accessible.

Taxis: Black cabs available outside the venue

PARKING
HMV Hammersmith Apollo does not have any parking spaces, and customers are requested not to use local area resident parking.

It is possible to drop off directly outside the venue on Queen Caroline street.

The nearest 24-hour car park is located behind the Kings Mall and accommodates 1000 cars. The car park can be entered up until 20:00 and cars can be collected anytime.

Novotel London West, located 3 to 5 minutes walk from the Apollo offers great and secured car park facilities. Up to 240 bays are available on a first come first served basis. Prices are ?3.00 an hour or ?1.00 an hour if you are staying at the hotel.
