Raising money for children\’s charities
This year we are raising money for WellChild, providing support for terminally ill children and their families across the UK. Every year a children\’s charity is selected as the ride\’s beneficiary. Over the last 23 years the ride has raised an excess of £323,000 in aid of different children\’s charity groups. Previous beneficiaries include Barnardo\’s, NSPCC, Capital FM\’s Help a London Child Appeal. Ealing Hospital\’s Playground in the Sky Appeal. The Challenge (CROSS ENGLAND)
Day 1: The ride starts from Birmingham (Smethwick) and proceeds through Coventry, Daventry and through Bedfordshire taking in the picturesque views of our British countryside. It then reaches its centennial milestone in Luton where there is an over night stay.
Day 2: The ride continues in the morning and passes through St Albans. Radlet, Elstree and Harrow before reaching its final destination to Southall in West London.
