British Sikh Doctors Health Screening Event

BSDO are organising a screening event for ALL THE SANGAT.

This charity will be screening for common and potentially life threatening diseases that affect many within our community, including OBESITY and HYPERTENSION (High Blood Pressure).

We will also be giving invaluable advice on HEALTH and DIET, in both English and Punjabi.

Please bring your parents, your grandparents and your aunts and uncles. We will screen them, and give them an explanation of the results and what to do with them!!

Our loved ones are very dear to us, and its important that we look after them, and make sure that they take care of their health. AWARENESS is the first step, and its lacking amongst our elders unfortunately. So bring your family along so that they can become aware of these diseases and the importance of keeping healthy.

This event will also be an opportunity for doctors, dentisits and other health care professionals to meet and form invaluable links within sangat, which will hopefully allow our community of sikhs in health care to grow together and provide help to each other when and where ever possible.
