My favourite time on the trip was taking part in the Last Post Ceremony at Menin Gate. I felt very proud to represent both Britain and India. I really wanted everyone to know we, as Sikhs, are a very important part of British history.” Jeevan Kaur Age 10

“It was a huge learning & emotional experience.” Jagdish Pamma

“With the information and guidance provided by the Historians I could almost hear, smell and feel the battles that took place…” Ambi Ray-Sanghera

“Throughout its service in France the magnificent Sikh regiment never failed to answer all calls. Its reputation would be secure and its right to fight shoulder to shoulder with our best troops would be established.”? General Sir H. Smith Dorien. GOC 2nd Corps
