The 1st in a series of 4 lectures on Sikh Art by art historian, Jasleen Kandhari at Ernst & Young.
Portraiture is the predominant theme in Sikh art. This lecture shall explore the stylistic representations of the Sikh gurus and the Sikh Maharajahs in an attempt to define Sikh art as a genre of Indian art.
