The international sporting event of EuroGames was originally created by the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community but we welcome everyone who is tolerant, open-minded and supports regular exercise, be they athletes, volunteers or supporters. After all, our aim is to build a bridge that connects the subculture of LGBT people with the majority of society. Let us get to know each other, help understanding, acceptance and tolerance evolve by showing that in sports there is no difference between straight and LGBT athletes. This way we can highlight the degree of discrimination in our society including the world of sports.
EuroGames Budapest 2012 from 27th June to 1st July, 3800 participants from all over Europe will join in Budapest for the 14 sport competitions and all the other things this city has to offer.
