Capital Bhangra 2012

Capital Bhangra is the UK’s newest university bhangra team competition. Launched to provide an opportunity for the growing number of UK university bhangra teams to share their love of real Punjabi culture on a professional stage, the competition will allow teams to test themselves against their peers and improve the level of their knowledge, ability and passion as a result.

Teams from the University of Edinburgh, University of Greenwich & Medway, UCL and LSE will compete for the inaugural title on Saturday 28 January, 2012. The world-famous Jugnu bhangra group will perform an exhibition piece and the evening’s events will be hosted by Canadian Youtube sensation, Superwoman.
