Questionnaire distributed to Sikh community to gain insight for first British Sikh Report
London, UK: 15th November 2012 – The British Sikh Report (BSR) will become the first census of Sikhs in the UK, taking into account the opinions of individuals from all generations, looking at topics such as community, arts & culture and gender equality – all topical issues. Previously, information on the Sikh community was collected and distributed to a wider audience as part of the general British census, issued every decade.
Currently, the team behind the census is distributing the questionnaire online to all of the Sikh community, across the UK, via a number of channels including Facebook and Twitter.
Taking no longer than five minutes, the anonymous questionnaire, will then be analysed, with stats and additional information being utilised in the final report, due out in Spring 2013.

The final date for questionnaire completion is 31st January 2013 – please feel free to share the links to the report with everyone you know in the Sikh community. So far, the report has had the support of many influential Sikh organisations, including: City Sikhs Network, Sikh Channel, Turban Campaign and UKPHA.
